The new building is a passive house standard office building that sets new standards for environmentally conscious construction.

The building will be constructed mainly from renewable materials, which can be separated to 100% by type and reused after the end of the building’s use. The building produces its own electricity through a 100kW photovoltaic system on the green roof and uses rainwater to 100%. No water enters the sewer system. The construction is hybrid construction. Approximately 80% of the building will be constructed as a timber structure. Only the three staircases will be built of reinforced concrete for fire protection reasons and for structural reasons. The façade is made entirely of larch wood.

In its use, it is planned as an office building with a training area. The office building is being built for a large ecological organization. However, parts of the office space can be separated and sublet to other users if necessary. In terms of urban development, the new building completely closes the currently open gap between buildings and adapts to the neighbouring buildings. The building block is stepped along the slope of the site. The height of the building refers to the adjacent buildings. The roof is mainly covered with extensive and intensive greening. In the middle of the roof there is a spacious roof terrace with pergola and wooden deck.
